Grassley, Rubio cosponsor mandatory E-Verify bill

    Rubio cosponsors mandatory E-Verify bill
    By Marcos Restrepo | 06.17.11 | 3:45 pm

Sen. Chuck Grassley, R-Iowa, and Sen. Marco Rubio, R-Fla., are cosponsoring a bill requiring all employers to use E-Verify, a federal program that allows companies to verify if a job applicant is authorized to work in the U.S.

According to the Shark Tank, Rubio released the following statement:
Consistently, I have stated that a modernization of the legal immigration system is impossible unless we must first secure the border and implement an E-Verify system that will help prevent the hiring and exploitation of undocumented workers. That’s why I support Senator Charles Grassley’s bill to make E-Verify permanent. #

Grassely, the Senate Judiciary Committee’s ranking member, says in written statement, “E-Verify has already proven effective in combating the hiring of illegal aliens. It’s a simple tool for employers who want to comply with the law in a digital age when sophisticated, fraudulent documents are just the stroke of a computer key away.â€
    NO AMNESTY

Don't reward the criminal actions of millions of illegal aliens by giving them citizenship.

Every State should require every employer large or small, to use E-Verify and also if they are a contractor they should provide proof to those who have contracted them that all employees being used on the job are LEGAL. Anyone who hires a contractor to mow the lawn, roof a house, Do plumbing electrical or any type of building, should ask that contractor to provide proof of employee legality.

I agree. E-verify should be mandated across the country. The Hispanic advocates are balking at this, however. What loyal American wouldn't want to see that we have legitimate workers in every workplace? Their agenda is quite clear. They put their ethnic interests above the laws of this country.
