Byrd said the federal government gave him the idea of extending home loans to illegal immigrants. He said that in 2004 he attended a conference in Chicago at which officials from agencies, including the Federal Reserve and Federal Deposit Insurance Corp., encouraged bankers to give services to illegal immigrants.
BYRD IS A TRAITOR. And our federal government needs weeding out! "We the people" are left with bailing out these greedy bankers and illegal aliens.

How do people who are supposedly here to do the jobs we won't do that are supposedly minimum wage jobs save $100,000? Do they have a drug business on the side or what? Even if you worked three minimum wage jobs a week you couldn't save that much. Don't forget these people are also supposed to be supporting family members in Mexico with their earnings.

Don't believe this for a minute. These were probably no doc loans where no proof of anything was required and any old thing could be used to fill in the blanks and nobody checked on the accuracy.

I had countless residency verification forms brought into my office by IAs living in this development.....and even ones just wanting to use the address to obtain home loans.....which were blank. No information filled out on them whatsoever.

According to the note invariably attached....my job was to simply sign the paper. The realtor, mortgage broker, or whomever would "take care of the rest".

I refused to sign anything and the tactics changed......all of a sudden all of the IAs needed "a letter of credit" for immigration They didn't get that either.

So no.....unless they were somehow involved criminally they were NOT plunking down $100,000 downpayments. In fact, most illegals were taking advantage of the no-down loans.
