Groups condemn migrants at meeting

At one point Schultheis told Breuer and Cox that “this is not a racial issue here,� but a hearing on whether people are in this country legally or illegally.

Rep. Ted Harvey, R-Highlands Ranch, said he’d been told that in Greeley the situation may not have been as much of an “illegal immigration problem� as a “gang activity problem.�

“Is there anything the state can do to help your city solve that crime problem?� Harvey asked Breuer and Cox.

Cox said Weld District Attorney Ken Buck, who’s pushing for the ICE office, has been assertive in trying to fight crime by illegals, but Breuer charged that “the illegals and the Mexicans are becoming a gang of their own.�

The most concerning thing in this article is what the lady said about them becoming very aggressive and not afraid to SAY they are illegal. It is a situation like this that really alarms me because our claims of the possibility of a real WAR with these invaders seem to be more and more likely. NO AMERICAN CITIZEN should have to live in fear like these people are. More and more we are hearing the same story from all over the country. The Herndon, VA issue comes to mind. AMERICANS are literally INTIMIDATED AND AFRAID. Something MUST be DONE and NOW is almost TOO LATE.
