Cocaine Seized by Border Patrol Agents

LAREDO, Tx.- A man from Seguin, Texas was arrested by Border Patrol agents for transporting 2.1 kilos of cocaine in a Bus.

Juan Perales did not fulfill his objective and was taken into custody on federal charges of drug possession with the intent to distribute, valued at almost 100,000 dollars.

According to official reports, Perales traveled as a passenger in an American Bus destined to arrive in San Antonio, when he arrived at the inspection booth on mile 29 and highway 35.

A trained canine gave alert in the interior of the bus so immigration agents decided to do a general inspection. Federal agents detected a suspicious package near Perales.

The 32 year old subject confessed that he would receive a payment for transporting the package up north.
