Anti-Cop Blog Targets Sheriff, Slain Deputy

PHOENIX - A valley man is suspected of murdering a New Hampshire couple near Sedona and killing a Maricopa county sheriff's deputy two days later before he was killed by other deputies.

Since the bloodshed two weeks ago, FOX 10 has learned an anti-cop blogger is praising the deputy's death -- calling the gunman a martyr and telling Sheriff Joe Arpaio he's next.

That disturbing blog celebrates the killings of police officers and deputies across the country. It calls them "dead pigs" and puts their killers on pedestals.

The blogger calls the deputy's killer a martyr. He appears to be based in Portland, Oregon and while police there have seen his blog, there isn't much they can do about it.

“Officer down, laugh out loud” is the headline. The blogger calls Deputy William Coleman's murder “well deserved” and the man who pulled the trigger a "brave warrior."

“This is going too far,” says Sheriff Joe. He’s seen the blog which calls Drew Ryan Maras, the man linked to the deaths of two Sedona tourists and the deputy, a martyr.

“It is just sad that this type of garbage can be circulated around the world. I presume that is the 1st amendment. But how far do you go? How far do you go?”

The man behind the blog is Damos Abadon, and he lives in Portland, Oregon.

“I personally have seen some of his posts and they are offensive,” says Sgt. Peter Simpson, Portland PD.

But Portland police say when it comes to stopping something like this, their hands are tied.

“The challenge for law enforcement is people talking about violent acts of violent crime making jokes or threatening statements often times isn't against the law,” says Sgt. Simpson.

The sheriff himself is featured on the blog, with the words “dead or alive” written on his picture. "Alive" is crossed out.

“You know what. Stand in line. I have got plenty of threats. I am not too concerned about that. I am concerned about the disrespect to my deputy sheriff who probably saved a lot of lives.”

The sheriff has asked his investigators who deal with threats to look into this and figure if there is anything his office can do.

We tried reaching out to the blogger but never got a response.

Smells like a cartel style operation. Due to our unlawfully open borders and lack of immigration enforcement, America is well along the path into the hell that Mexico has become.
