Harry Reid, Chuck Schumer: Obama Acts Unilaterally in 6 Weeks if House Doesn't Pass Amnesty

On Thursday, Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-NV) and Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-NY) gave House Republicans six weeks to pass amnesty legislation before President Barack Obama starts to use executive actions to ease deportations and change immigration laws.

“We’ve waited 329 days, we’re willing to wait another six weeks,” Reid said, according to Politico. “But at the end of six weeks, if something hasn’t been done, then there’s gonna have to be a move made. And it’s too bad we have to do that, because we all know things can be done administratively, but it’s better to change the law.”

Schumer, who has previously said there could be legislation by "June or July," concurred.

“They have about a six-week window, from June 10 after the last Republican primary until the August recess. If they don’t pass immigration reform them, the president will have no choice but to act on his own,” he said, according to The Hill.

Schumer, along with Rep. Luis Gutierrez (D-IL), has said that this year is the last chance to pass sweeping amnesty legislation. The New York Democrat has also suggested that Congress pass the Senate's amnesty bill, which the Congressional Budget Office determined would lower the wages of American workers, but delay the implementation of it until Obama leaves office in 2017. Reid also endorsed Schumer's suggestion, which would give amnesty to all illegal immigrants who arrived in the country before 2014.

House Republicans have said they would not proceed on amnesty legislation until they could trust Obama to enforce the nation's immigration laws, but Obama's Homeland Security Secretary Jeh Johnson told PBS's Judy Woodruff last week that the administration was on the verge of enacting executive actions to ease deportations. Pro-amnesty advocates have been pushing the Obama administration to act, calling Obama the "deporter-in-chief," which even Obama's former Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano debunked.

If Congress does not pass amnesty legislation this year, Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL) has said GOP leaders would "absolutely" try next year if they gain the majority. Business executives like Chamber of Commerce CEO Tom Donohue have said that passing amnesty legislation during the lame-duck session was a fallback position and could be the final act of this Congress.

Extortion is defined by obtaining money, property, or services from a person, entity, or institution, through coercion and is a criminal offense. However that is exactly what the US Senate lead by the charge of Sen Harry Reid (D-NV) and Sen Chuck Schumer (D-NY) just did on national television. The US Senate threatened the GOP in the House of Representatives, “pass amnesty or President Obama will act unilaterally. You have six weeks!”

Senate Threatens GOP: Six Weeks On Amnesty Or Obama Does It!

Senator Harry Reid told Politico that President Obama will “act alone” if the House GOP doesn’t pass immigration reform, also known as amnesty because it grants amnesty to those who have already broken federal law, in six weeks.
“We’ve waited 329 days, we’re willing to wait another six weeks,” Reid said Thursday, referring to the number of days that have passed since his chamber passed a comprehensive reform bill. “But at the end of six weeks, if something hasn’t been done, then there’s gonna have to be a move made. And it’s too bad we have to do that, because we all know things can be done administratively, but it’s better to change the law.” ~Politico
The Senate has now resorted to extortion to force the issue, something distinctly forbidden by the Constitution. Going on national television, he openly threatened the extortion of the House of Representatives by executive order! You can see one such Democrat on the Kelly Files.
But that is not the only Senator screaming. They are extorting the House to have the President make laws on immigration. Take a good hard look at the language used by Senator Schumer on C-Span:
“They have about a six-week window, from June 10 after the last Republican primary until the August recess. If they don’t pass immigration reform them, the president will have no choice but to act on his own,” he said. ~The Hill
That is blackmail at its finest. It is also highly illegal! It is against the power in the US Constitution for the President to Make LAWS! The President has ZERO ability to just make up some legislation because he doesn’t like something. Making laws is the responsibility of Congress and to be reviewed by the Judicial and Presidential branch to make certain they are Constitutional.
Reid and Schumer are not the only ones urging the President to bypass the Constitution and blackmailing the House of Representatives.
Schumer, along with Rep. Luis Gutierrez (D-IL), has said that this year is the last chance to pass sweeping amnesty legislation. The New York Democrat has also suggested that Congress pass the Senate’s amnesty bill, which the Congressional Budget Office determined would lower the wages of American workers, but delay the implementation of it until Obama leaves office in 2017. Reid also endorsed Schumer’s suggestion, which would give amnesty to all illegal immigrants who arrived in the country before 2014. ~Breitbart
The legal definition of Amnesty: “Amnesty refers to a blanket overlooking of an offense by the government, with the legal result that those charged or convicted have the charge or conviction wiped out.” (US Legal Dictionary) or “The action of a government by which all persons or certain groups of persons who have committed a criminal offense—usually of a political nature that threatens the sovereignty of the government (such as Sedition or treason)—are granted Immunity from prosecution.” (Legal Dictionary in Library of Congress). In other words you have to violate the law of the United States in order to get Amnesty.
Our politicians have gone so far as to directly violate federal law (extortion and blackmail) and force the House to pass an Unconstitutional Law or the President will violate Article II of the US Constitution in order to grant Amnesty to people who have violated US Law with no one being prosecuted?
Make no mistake, amnesty is not for the Hispanic community. It is for the people illegally in this country no matter your ethnic group. It doesn’t just cover Jose at the Home Depot. It also covers Ahkmed at the Jihad training camp in Virginia. It also allows for the importation of people that will accept lower wages then minimum wage for the Corporate Elite. It’s not so little Manuel can go to school. If he was born here, he is a citizen already by birth. It also allows 150,000,000 individuals from the Middle East over a 10 year period! It allows for the people who have raped, pillaged, and plundered in the South to be called American and never be deported!
This is truly the definition of madness.
