(CNSNews.com) – Rep. Luis Gutierrez (D-Ill.) joined a prayer vigil on Capitol Hill Wednesday, vowing to deliver thousands of immigration-reform petitions to President Barack Obama.

Gutierrez is urging the president to keep his campaign promise of comprehensive immigration reform, including a path to citizenship for the 12 to 14 million people who are in the United States illegally.

“If you can show us that you want to work, that you want to take English classes, that you are ready to pay a fine and are ready to engage in a program, then after six or seven or eight years, whatever Congress decides, you graduate,â€

Isn't there some code of ethics, or conflict of interest for a seated Congressman to go around with a bunch of criminals and flaunt the breaking of our federal laws in the American people's faces?

JUST SAY, NO. This azzclown Guiterez wants us to wait until Americans have been victimized before being removed from society? No freakin way. NOR will I vote to give ANYTHING to ANYONE whos first act was to ignore our laws, hence disrespecting us as a nation and people.

Keep your stupid sob stories for we know what you are all about Guiterez. You are a stinkin racist just like Menendez. Your more loyal to the people of your ethnicity than the people you were voted to serve (The American people)

It's time the press start marginalizing this racist, anti-American, pro-open borders, Chicago marxist........at a time when over 2 million Americans are newly unemployed, and 500,000 Americans lost their jobs in January ....it is inconceivable that a U.S. Congressman can stand in public and be advocating for the employment, educational and welfare needs of millions of illegal immigrants and their families? I can't believe how absurd this is ....he should be standing there saying the very same things and holding prayer vigils for AMERICAN families of all races, colors, creeds, ethnicity who have lost jobs, benefits, health care, homes, can't pay for college tuition for their children, and/or have been separated from their family members because of crimes committed by illegal aliens.

What I don't fathom is why not one single politician at any level has ever suggested putting forth a referendum at a city, state or national level allowing the Peoples Voice to be heard...Oh wait, I do KNOW why and so do they!

Just like the rest of the useless oxygen, taxpayer dollars and space wasting congress Gutierrez does not give a sh!@ about struggling Americans. It is about open borders, cheap labor for their corporate and LaRaza masters, stealing everything for which we have worked and sacrificed, giving it to those who violated our laws, borders, sovereignty and use stolen identities to steal everything they can like health care, welfare, food stamps, jobs and many more benefits aided and abetted by congress. Now that pompous ass Harry Reid despite opposition from GOP and Democratic conservatives says he doesn't like the fact there would be more spending to take care of struggling Americans and not enough pork to placate left wing special interests. He claims he has enough votes to ram the original left wing special interest payback and illegal alien jobs and benefits giveaway down our throats and up our wazoos and never mind those little people who elected us to serve and represent them who are overwhelmingly opposed to this socialist pork fest. I swear they must have taken the Mexican oath of office to uphold the Mexican Constitution as they sure as hell aren't upholding and defending ours.

Gutierrez is pedding the same type of amnesty that failed in 1986. He obviously doesn't know (or care to know) that when your status is changed from illegal to legal -- whether or not unenforceable requirements are wrapped around it -- that's amnesty.

The American people are not buying this -- especially in this time of massive job loss.

Furthermore, we'll have to watch Janet Napolitano closely to make sure she doesn't use her stated emphasis on criminal alien deportation as an excuse to gut workplace enforcement (a tactic that has been used before).
