    Here's what's going on

Here's what's going on- more ammunition-

From a Different Irritated but Fighting Hard GOP Senate Aide [Kathryn Jean Lopez]

    http://corner.nationalreview.com/

The Grand Bargainers are playing "hide the ball." We are not seeing language - they are trying to move this thing through without allowing full review and debate. 373 pages thrown together yesterday - AND AILA, a liberal advocacy group, gets to see it before fellow Republicans? What a slap in the face...

Now - the Grand Bargainers are trying to roll through "tabling votes" to make some attempt to show strength in support of / or in opposition to various amendments to keep their deal "cobbled together."

When we get to cloture tomorrow - any Senator who votes in support of Cloture will be voting in favor of this sham process and against fellow Senators who are trying to shine light on this bill. There is no excuse for votes in favor of this process - it is undemocratic, it is unfair and it tells you everything you need to know about the strength of this bill if light is allowed to shine on it...

I've been watching C-SPAN. Republicans are not being allowed to speak. They've complained about there only being one copy of the amendments at the table.... no copies distributed so that they can have a good look. At least 2 have complained about rules being broken.

    Tax-breaks for speed-readers

Bush wants this done before he leaves office, so that he can be remembered for immigration reform, not for a senseless war.

He wants it done sooner than that. He wants to take it to the SPP conference in Quebec this August.

This is about a lot more than George Bushs' legacy. He's been given a mission, and he's going to carry it out no matter what.
It's like hell vomited and the Bush administration appeared.

Bush will be remembered as an idiot. On the scale of Carter.

At least Carter can weild a hammer. Bush can't even pick up a rake as he has his muchacho landscapers out at his ranch.

I wonder how many illegal Canadian immigrants there are? and if Canada will welcome illegal Mexicans as readily as Bush does.

The Canadians are going to be given exactly the same say-so as we are, i.e. none at all.
