Arizona Department of Public Safety detectives arrested two Mesa men Friday on suspicion of manufacturing forged identification cards.
Antonio C. Garcia, 29, and Antonio L. Gayton, 31, were booked into the Maricopa County Jail and face charges of Forgery, Trafficking in the Identity of Another Person or Entity, and Illegal Control of an Enterprise.
DPS detectives executed a search warrant on an apartment in the 200 block of South Lazona Drive in Mesa and found materials associated with the manufacturing of forged driver's licenses, immigration cards and Social Security cards, according to DPS. Seized items included a computer, printer/scanner, card printer, laminating machine, software, and plastic card stock, according to DPS.
