Employers must use new I-9 form starting April 3

All businesses must start on Friday April 3 using the new I-9 form to verify immigration status for employment eligibility.

The new form and rules were originally to go into effect Feb. 2, but the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Service, at the behest of the Obama Administration, delayed them 60 days to allow more public comment.
