June 23, 2007

LITTLETON, N.H. --A couple of lesser-known presidential candidates are campaigning in New Hampshire today.

Colorado U.S. Rep. Tom Tancredo, a Republican, campaigns today in the North Country, speaking at a town hall style meeting in Littleton and a house party in Westmoreland. Tancredo has made illegal immigration a centerpiece of his underdog presidential campaign and strongly advocates building a fence along the border with Mexico.

Sen. Chris Dodd also is in New Hampshire today. The Connecticut Democrat attends several events in southern New Hampshire today. He's at a house party in Amherst this morning, before delivering a speech in Nashua. Later He attends a volunteer event and ends the day with a house party at the home of state Sen. Lou D'Allesandro in Manchester.
