This is just crap, they can call this enforcing the immigration laws all they want but it is not, just going after aliens who comment a crime is BS, as entering this country with out permission is a CRIME!! If they do not enforce all the laws people will just keep comming and no no respect for the laws in the United States! I new this administration was going to be a huge disaster!

Welcome, BryanF! And you make a great point about those that sacrifice for this country, something which is being totally ignored by those who cry for amnesty. Sure we are a nation of immigrants, but first and foremost we are a nation of patriots, something the legal immigrants understand very well, but illegal money suckers don't even think about.

Once again Janet is watering down illegal alien enforcement.

Before this so-called new and improved 287(g) agreement, any illegal could be held for deportation. Now it looks like the feds are only going to pick up illegals with felony criminal records and those with previous deportation orders. Without a doubt, the effectiveness of 287(g) has been reduced. Your typical illegal alien speeder, driver without a licenses (or identification), etc. will no longer be taken in for a comprehensive police record check. This means many more illegals will be slipping through the cracks because they'll never be officially identified as an illegal alien.

Nothing new for the Obama administration, just another way of giving illegals a temporary (de facto) amnesty until an amnesty bill can be brought forth.

As I'm sure everyone has noticed, this administration is making a conscientious effort to reduce illegal immigration enforcement whenever and wherever possible.
