9 indicted in western Colorado cocaine investigation

Three of the men are fugitives, but six were to appear before a federal judge in Grand Junction Thursday on charges of possession with intent to distribute more than 5 kilograms of cocaine.

The men indicted are: Cornelio Cuevas-Pena (aka Rogelio), age 42, a fugitive; Luis Javier Carlos-Marin (aka Guero), 47, of Delta; Abraham Cuevas-Pena, 52, of Delta; Gabino Flores-Hernandez, 61, of Olathe; Martin Andrade-Zuniga, 41, a fugitive; Adrian David Guerra, 36, a fugitive; Juan Carlos Denicolas, 33, of Montrose; Oscar Ceja-Meraz, 31, of Silt; and Omar Garcia-Lopez (aka Liborio), 32, of El Paso, Texas.

All face life sentences and fines of $4 million if convicted.
