Good work ICE...keep it up.

I think the "profiling" thing is getting a little tired as is the "blonde hair blue eyed" thing.

If you're illegal, the only proof needed to arrest you is probable cause that you are illegal and then ye shall be deported!!

Which is exactly why we have, according to the law, a legal process for immigration, to weed out the bad apples, the terrorists, the criminals, the addicts, the prostitutes and the rest of the trash. The situation we have with illegal immigration, and a government that refuses to act, is that this trash that gets in ruins things for EVERYONE; citizens and legal immigrants.

Sixty of the men taken into custody were released because they were not deemed a threat or wanted by law enforcement, said Louisa Deason of the immigration agency. She said two of the men were taken into custody because they had warrants for their arrest.

Well, I'm seeing this from a completely different slant. Did they release those 60 people JUST BECAUSE THEY DIDN'T HAVE WARRANTS FOR THEIR ARREST??? Did ICE even try to DETERMINE of those SIXTY were here LEGALLY??? My money would be on the fact that they didn't BOTHER because I would bet the FARM that, out of 62 Hispanics, at least HALF would have been here ILLEGALLY. I THINK THIS IS DISTURBING. It sounds to me like all ICE did was take into custody the TWO that had warrants for CRIMINAL ACTIVITIES.

It's just business as usual for ICE, I think. They have such an overwhelming problem, created by politicians, just to round up the worst of the bunch, the known "criminals". Agreed that they should check the legal immigration status of all these individuals, but the current push of ICE is to get the criminals (other than immigration law) rounded up. I suppose Ms. Myers is too busy shopping to come up with a plan to deal with the illegal alien problem.

The "blonde hair blue eyed" don`t have TB.The "blonde hair blue eyed" did not cross into our country Illegaly.The "blonde hair blue eyed" are not breaking our "Welfare System".The "blonde hair blue eyed" are not trashing our boarders and State Parks.The "blonde hair blue eyed" are not causing Americans to mend fences each and everyday where some Illegal Alien" has cut the fence in order to sneak into our country.The "blonde hair blue eyed" are not the reason Americans have to but weapons to protect themselves from Illegal Aliens breaking into their homes and salughtering live stock.The "blonde hair blue eyed" are not the ones that are saying:We are going to take back America,it is ours,go back to Germany Gringo."It is not the blonde hair blue eyed" that are breaking our laws and getting by with it because our so called president protecs them from the law. "Aliens with orders of removal who are going to ignore those orders are in for a surprise," Marc Raimondi, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement spokesman, said. "Because if they don't comply with those orders, than they're going to get a visit from an ICE fugitive team."
Immigration officials will increase the number of fugitive teams spread across the country from 17 to 52 by the end of the year. The five to eight member teams, working under the element of surprise, will focus on tracking and deporting such fugitives. But they also will seek to arrest and deport any other illegal aliens they find in the process.

League City police said they were searching for three men wanted on charges ranging from sexual assault of a child to intoxicated manslaughter.

An immigration spokesman said her agency was there to assist in determining the immigration status of those rounded up and to detain only those who posed a risk to the community.

THAT is what is so INFURIATING. WHY DO WE HAVE ICE FOR GOD'S SAKE???? THE LOCAL POLICE COULD HAVE HANDLED THE ONES WHO HAD OUTSTANDING WARRANTS. ICE IS NOT DOING THEIR JOB IF THEY DIDN'T DEPORT ANY ILLEGALS.
