House to try to move interim spending bill with amendment of $5 billion for border wall. Plus $8 billion for disaster aid. That may not clear the House. They would then bounce it back to the Senate. Senate probably couldn’t approve that billThe President hinted earlier Thursday that he may veto the interim spending bill since it did not provide $5 billion for border wall funding.

Last night, the Senate passed a two-month stopgap funding bill in a late night vote to avoid a Saturday government shutdown.
The bill was then quickly sent to the House just two days before the funding was set to expire.
Paul Ryan failed miserably to get the bill passed because President Trump refused to sign without border wall funding.
President Trump now put a tremendous amount of pressure on the House to provide border wall funding in the bill or it’s lights out in less than 48 hours.
Please, Mr. President, keep your campaign promise and get funding for the border wall — even if that means shutting the government down.
This is a breaking story…please refresh page for updates.
