VICENTE FOX: RESPONSES ON IMMIGRATION

The following is insightful. I received it via an email friend. It is in response to my comment that Mexican President Fox has lost his mind. Read: MEXICO'S VICENTE FOX DOESN'T LIKE WALL IDEA

"I think Fox has not lost his mind. I think he is outraged because he has been given assurances that we would continue to take his neglected people ad infinitum.

"Mexico is not a completely poor country. There is great wealth there, but it is not used to benefit its people. Mexico has great oil resources. The country is not well managed and has corruption up to its very head. Its police are corrupt, as are many other parts of its government.

"In relation to the trade agreements, NAFTA, CAFTA and now FTAA, (Free Trade Area of the Americas), our President Bush, Canada's Martin, and Vincente Fox have agreed to a European-Union type of government which would encompass all of the Americas, from Canada down to the tip of South America.

"Evidently NAFTA, which has been a disaster for American workers, did not supply big business with enough low wage workers.

"CAFTA, which has recently been passed, further weakens the American worker by allowing companies to relocate in the Central American countries, thereby saving them money by hiring low wage earners.

"FTAA would complete the trade trifecta, and add to the relocating of companies to South America.

"If there is a wall built between Mexico and the U.S., it would slow down the traffic going over that border.

"The Bush administration cannot allow that to happen and keep its agreement with Martin and Fox. These three envision completely open borders, with a common "defense", an euphemism. It would be a super power and all countries would be subject to its laws and regulations.

"Already we are seeing our interests subjugated to the will of trade courts set up to adjudicate the myriad of laws and regulations in these trade agreements. These courts are made up from the same countries that thwart our movements in the U.N. It can be seen that these countries do not respect us and try to diminish every advantage we have. It is no different with the tribunals set up to enforce the agreements of the WTO, NAFTA, and CAFTA.

"President Bush has tried very hard to get FTAA off and running, but has had other issues to address. However, the due date for implementation of FTAA was in the first part of 2005, so it is behind schedule."

This email note came in at the same time that the above came in. It too is in response to the same column stated above in the first paragraph:

"With the help of Clinton and now Bush, Vicente Fox has done what no other Mexican president in history has done, and that is to be successful at invading and colonizing the U.S. Give him credit in that his country no longer needs a welfare program nor has any need to build prisons. All that oil profit can be used as it is intended, to line the pockets of the patricians.

"And the U.S.?

"We are now a Latino country. Pick up your local newspaper and check out the births. I've asked the publisher of our local paper to put the births to illegals--now two to one to citizens--under the ‘crimes’ section, but to no avail.

"Until we are ready to take it to the streets in protest and literally MAKE our leaders stop the invasion and start the deportations, Vicente Fox is our de facto director of Homeland Security."
