Minutemen should assist hurricane victims
Editor:
In reference to your article dated Sept. 9, “The Minutemen are coming to Brownsville, wouldn’t it be more helpful if the Minuteman, including Texas director Al Garza, volunteer their services to the affected New Orleans Hurricane Katrina victims, who are in desperate need of help?
Why shouldn’t the Minutemen help? This border watch group should re-evaluate its priorities.
If the Border Patrol, U.S. Customs and Border Protection personnel need volunteers, perhaps they could recruit local border landowners and taxpayers. To my knowledge the only volunteers they have had are young high school students known as Explorers.
I hope the Minutemen will volunteer their services to a good cause â€â€Support our FIGHT AGAINST illegal immigration & Amnesty by joining our E-mail Alerts at http://eepurl.com/cktGTn
