Huckabee says no to birthright citizenship Constitutional amendment
By Eunice Moscoso | Tuesday, January 8, 2008, 01:22 PM

The Washington Times reported today that former Gov. Mike Huckabee of Arkansas, a leading GOP presidential contender, supports a Constitutional amendment that would deny birthright citizenship to children of illegal immigrants.

    Not so, says the candidate.

[b]“I do not support an amendment to the Constitution that would prevent children born in the U.S. to illegal aliens from automatically becoming American citizens. I have no intention of supporting a Constitutional amendment to deny birthright citizenship,â€

What difference does it make, if he gives a green card to every illegal who steps back across the border for a day? All of their kids will end up being US citizens anyway. It's a big joke, ON US!!

Huckabee has taken a harder line on immigration since his days in Arkansas.
What has he been doing about it since his days in Arkansas? Not a thing.

This is not what I call taking a hard line.

During the FOX debate the other evening the issue of illegal alien children came up and Mitt Romney pressed Mr. Huckabee about the children here. It appeared that Mr. Huckabee seemed uncomfortable with the pressure and he said that if the parents leave then the children would probably go with them.

I think Mr. Huckabee has not changed his views on the children and therefore amnesty is on the table for every illegal alien that can be brought in through a child (or young adult up to 30 plus - Dream Act).

Attempting to deceive the American public, of course.
