Sheriff Joe Arpaio is preparing for a showdown on Wednesday when immigration rights advocates plan to march in Phoenix.

Arpaio said "we will have our experts in enforcing illegal immigration laws and if we come across any illegals pursuant to crime we will arrest them."

The Sheriff plans to send deputies to a neighborhood near 24th Street and Thomas where the march will begin at 9am.

This is the same area where protesters gather for weekly rallies. Marchers plan to take their rally to City Hall.

But the vast MAJORITY [about 60%] of illegals use ‘points of entry’. An interesting PERSONAL observation on this, is that they just pay a small fee of $6.00 for a ‘temporary TWO DAY’ pass to visit: ‘Make Up a Name’ on the other side of the border; but they never come back, and MOST NEVER planned on it!

I DON’T feel sorry for the illegal alien just because he/she is working for say, $5/hr in the USA, [they're averaging MUCH more than that!] ..because the cost of living averages to be TEN times LESS in Mexico then here! So $5/hr translates to $50/hr for you and I! The majority of illegal aliens are not stupid, but just as GREEDY as their illegal employers! Of course I would ‘pick lettuce’ [etc] for $50/hr.. HERE!

..and NOT all illegals are being paid ‘cash’, and I'm getting tired of hearing they're working for ‘slaves’ wages! What a freaking JOKE! Right now, I'll guarantee you they're ALL working for MORE than $7/hr! At LEAST 50% of illegals are being paid by check. The problem is NOT ONLY are they taking CITIZENS jobs, AND/OR that they are committing fraud, AND/OR identity theft, AND/OR destroying someone else’s credit [and maybe life!], but most are also ‘claiming’ 3-10+ ‘dependants’, thus NOT paying ANY taxes! The illegals that are working for ‘cash’ [and MANY who aren’t], are ALSO claiming ‘poverty’ AND receiving subsidies!

The Valley’s heated immigration debate is once again playing out on a national stage. Protesters, counter demonstrators and law enforcement will converge on a Phoenix furniture store tomorrow morning. Just how many people show up remains a mystery.

The Hispanic community has been holding demonstrations in front of Pruitt’s furniture store for months. Tomorrow morning, just after rush hour, the immigration debate will hit the streets again.

March organizer, Salvador Reza, and his followers plan to march to City Hall to attend the final council meeting of the year. They accuse deputies of racial profiling, civil rights abuse and intimidation against Hispanics. advertisement




Phoenix police will monitor the march with motor officers. Sheriff’s deputies will also be there with a bigger force than normal, and a swat team on standby. Reza says he expects about 100 marchers tomorrow. Police says Reza did not get a permit and anticipate around 25 people, but they say they’ll be ready for more.

“I’m disappointed with the whole political system here. Not only did they let us down, they’re letting the business community down too,â€

I think this might be a preview of comming events - for sure.

It is an insult to the black people for them to compare this to the civil rights marches.
