Hundred's of Hispanics rally in protest of Oklahoma law
Hundreds rally against law
Associated Press - November 1, 2007 2:15 PM ET
OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) - About 500 mostly Hispanic protesters gathered at the Capitol today criticize a new state law that's designed to fight illegal immigration.
They protested against a law called 1 of the toughest anti-illegal immigration laws in the nation. It intends to stop any state benefits going to illegals and to give police new powers to detain them for deportation.
It's drawn fierce opposition from some religious groups who say they'll ignore a provision that makes it a felony to harbor or transport undocumented people.
Catholic Reverend Don Wolf of Duncan says churches are standing up against what he says is misery the bill will cause.
And the Reverend Victor Orta of the American Dream Coalition says the law is a misguided attempt to fix a problem that only Congress can solve.

Report
From IRS web page, you can report violations of tax laws. You can also report to your State IRS. I have reported the Catholic Church for preaching politics from the pulpit and demanded that the tax exempt status be revoked. I have not received a reply and this was several months ago. It would be helpful if many people made the same request. It is a form to complete and fast and easy.
