Proposed Mississippi immigration law sparks debate

Immigrant rights groups in Mississippi are not pleased at all after a proposed bill very similar to the immigration law in Arizona.

Members of the Mississippi Immigrants Rights Alliance (MIRA) said they are frustrated with the state's efforts to see passage of Senate Bill 2179.

"This bill is founded on inaccurate information claiming that immigrants bring crime to Mississippi," said MIRA Director Bill Chandler.

At a rally in Jackson, Mississippi, several speakers had harsh words for the proposed bill.

"We also stand here with the understanding that the legislation that's being offered is nothing more than racial profiling," said NAACP Mississippi President Derrick Johnson.

A MIRA member, Sole Arrellano, said "Now we are discriminated, and we're here to fight for our rights."

Lawmakers in favor of the bill said it just allows law enforcement to determine someone's immigration status.

"What we're saying is this state will allow state law enforcement officials to enforce federal laws," said Lt. Governor Phil Bryant.

Senate Bill 2179 allows law enforcement to check someone's immigration status, regardless of race, if they are stopped, detained or arrested.

You gotta love how these pro open borders hate America illegal alien reconquista advocacy groups lie to the American people when they falsely claim illegal aliens don't bring crime with them. I have 6 years of folders full of crimes as identity theft to illegally get the EITC, tax refunds and other benefits even though they paid no taxes along with murder, rape and molestation of women and children as young as 4, illegal alien gangs and others raping women as part of rituals, other sexual offenses, drunk driving and other crimes committed by those with no legal right to be in this country, some so heinous that judges said they have never seen anything as violent or savage in their entire time on the bench, before they sentenced illegal aliens and/or ordered them deported. Most are from lawless countries where the age of consent is 12 and the rape of women, children and drunk driving are celebrated as rites of manhood and aren't prosecuted. They say punishing and deporting them is racist. Racism has nothing to do with Americans forced to deal with this crap because D.C. corruptocrats place open borders, cheap labor and more votes ahead of the safety, security and welfare of the American people.

This seems to be going on, in a lot of places here in America!
