Illegal alien is facing CSC charge

TRAVERSE CITY -- Wilton Antonio Campos-Palacios, 23, faces a felony charge for criminal sexual conduct involving a 6-year-old girl.

Campos-Palacios is an illegal alien who gave a Grand Rapids address to court officials. He remains held at the Grand Traverse County Jail on a 10-percent $100,000 bond.

Traverse City police said the girl's mother caught Campos-Palacios in the act when she noticed the man missing from a gathering in her Bay Hill Drive apartment around 1 a.m. Saturday. She found him in her daughter's bedroom, when he fled the apartment.

Police arrested him near Division and 14th streets and he admitted to the crime, police said.

Campos-Palacios is set for a preliminary exam on Sept. 23 before Chief Judge John Foresman in 86th District Court. He faces up to life in prison, if convicted.

First, mom is having a "gathering" in her apartment lasting til 1 a.m.? Doesn't this child need some normal hours of sleep, or does she care?

Privacy and guidance is totally missing.

Think before you act.

Is this woman/mother thinking of anyone but herself?

Her child will probably never forgive her mother, another problem to solve in life.

Another sick and depraved act by an illegal!!!
