Thanks DHolmes7. Please give us a course on how to scream discrimination. I have applied to a grocery story around the corner that I can walk to, but don't speak Spanish. Half of the workers there don't speak English. Are they here on a work visa? I should just call ICE but they are kind of busy these days, and after all, these people are only here to work, not commit crimes. But I am learning Spanish when I shop: "comida de perros" is dog food; bolsa is bag. Though I speak Finnish and German, they are not in mode at the moment.

Ironic, isn't it, especially since Rep. Gutierrez and the Hispanic Caucus don't support E-verify! Much of this could have been avoided had the plant been required to utilize the E-verify program. The Hispanic Caucus needs to wake up to the reality of the situation.

Great point MW! Those like Gutierrez oppose E-Verify and yet are quick to condemn ICE when businesses are raided and illegals are apprehended.

He and his Hispanic Caucus seem to want it both ways! They oppose E-Verify and they oppose raids! Pretty obvious who Gutierrez and the Hispanic Caucus is is trying to protect!

Yep, it doesn't make much sense to the casual observer. However, we (Alipac) know what's going on!

Oh, please substitute "this" for "these" in my second sentence and correct the spelling for Hispanic in my first sentence. Sometimes my typing fingers work quicker than my brain. Quoting me made those mistakes stick out.

I see. So not only is her employer violating the laws against hiring illegal aliens, they're also violating child labor laws.

There are consequences for people's actions. They aren't suppose to be here but some act like they should be given a wink and a nod. Amazing!
