    ICE wants to use funds to combat drug cartels

    (Obama administration is being asked to divert funds for more officers along the border)….Immigration and Customs Patrol is reportedly asking the administration to divert $30 million.

    The funds are currently for a program to investigate employers suspected of hiring illegal immigrants. The diversion of funds would have to get congressional approval. ICE says they want to use the funds to help combat drug cartel violence along the U.S./Mexico border. ICE wants to send an additional 90 officers to the border. The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives is reportedly hiring 37 people to target gun smugglers. The Mexican Government has complained it is difficult for them to combat the cartels when they are funneled weapons from the United States.

    If they need help why doesn't The Congress and The Senate go down and see what all their hot air can do to help!

    NO! Congress did not approve those funds for National Defense. Those funds were allocated for IMMIGRATION ENFORCEMENT!

    Get your hand out of the immigration enforcement cookie jar!

    This Democratic controlled congress can throw billions of dollars to campaign contributors like AIG but they can't come up with any money for National Defense?

    ICE - raid and deport. No to drug cartel, we have Police, ATF, FBI, CIA, Border Patrol, the military, E-Verify, 287g Program;( ICE CANNOT DO IT ALL.
