This is great, but I must have missed it - what is the penalty the business will face for their illegal activity of hiring all these illegal aliens? The company should face large fines and the individuals in the company responsible should be thrown in jail.

I agree with you.

I don't know if anyone will go to prison specifically for hiring illegals, but I suspect some folks will go to prison for some of the other federal crimes they're being charged with.

I sure as heck hope so!! The employers that do this crap need to be punished!!

There's a sad note to this story ... to learn that this tiny raid is the "largest work place raid in a decade". 54 down and 30 million to go.

I'm still trying to figure out what is going to happen to the 32 that were released.

Well some of those were mistakes and they were legal immigrants, the others were illegals and set free to "take care of small children at home". Count them as fugitives, they loaded the van and flew the coup to another city or state as soon as they were released.

I read the story. I'm just curious what happens with the illegals they let go to take care of children. That is ridiculous. Sounds like they weren't even processed, just let go. I hope at a minimum they were given a court date. That way if they don't show up the judge can place a deportation order on them.
