Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has deported more illegal alien gang members from the United States, including those convicted of attempted murder, burglary, and vehicle theft.

“Last week, ICE deported more vicious illegal alien gang members from our country, including those convicted for attempted murder, driving under the influence, and burglary,” Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Markwayne Mullin said:

The brave men and women of ICE work tirelessly every single day to arrest and remove illegal aliens from our communities so that we can make America safe again. America is no longer a safe haven for illegal aliens. If you are here illegally, we will find you, arrest you, and deport you. [Emphasis added]

Among those deported by ICE is Surenos gang member Eddy Ely Lopez of Mexico, a criminal illegal alien who was previously convicted of attempted murder, use of a firearm in commission of a felony, criminal street gang activity, and possession of drugs in prison.

ICE also deported MS-13 gang member Marco Obdulio Sarmiento Crispin of Guatemala, Paisas gang member Candelario Gomez-Vasquez of Mexico, and Crips gang member Julian Patino Espinoza of Mexico.

Crispin was previously arrested for murder, drug possession, and vehicle theft, while Gomez-Vasquez has been convicted of drunk driving, robbery, resisting an officer, and illegal re-entry. Espinoza was previously convicted of burglary, larceny, and illegal re-entry.

Latin Kings gang member Cristian Adonay Melgar-Cermeno of Guatemala was deported on August 13 by ICE agents. Melgar-Cermeno was previously convicted of drunk driving, burglary, and obstructing police.
