Tonight, Osvaldo Aldrete Davila, the illegal alien drug
smuggler who was shot by Border Patrol agents Ignacio Ramos and
Jose Compean, is expected to plead guilty to charges of
smuggling marijuana into the U.S.

Davila testified against Ramos and Compean under an agreement
with prosecutors that gave him immunity for the drug smuggling
crime he was committing when he was shot. But amazingly, he had
the audacity to make two more illegal drug runs into the U.S.
between the border shooting and the agents’ trial, according to
federal drug enforcement officials. We’ll have the latest,
plus:

* As the economic crisis worsens, more and more Americans are
relying on credit cards to pay for their basic amenities.
However, many credit card companies are abusing consumers
through high interest rates which help put Americans deeper in
debt. Congress is holding a hearing on new legislation that
would reform credit card industry abuses and improve consumer
protections.

* About a dozen U.S. sailors are expected to be charged with
ripping off the government in a marriage fraud scam. The
sailors allegedly married women from Russia and the Ukraine—the
girls got U.S. citizenship and the sailors got bigger paychecks
and larger housing.
