Mundelein man arrested for sexual assault in Round Lake

A Mundelein man is being held in the Lake County Jail on $350,000 bond after he was arrested on a sex assault charge earlier this week.

Rigoberto Fuentes-Tellez, 22, of 270 N. Archer, was arrested by Round Lake Beach police Sunday, following an incident in the 900 block of Ronald Terrace.

A Round Lake Beach police spokesman did not have all the details on Fuentes-Tellez's arrest, saying only that the man was charged with one count of criminal sexual assault.

Police had to use his finger prints to confirm his identity through immigration records, said Round Lake Beach Deputy Chief Gary Bitler.

His wife and members of both their families gave Lake County Circuit Court Judge Fred Foreman letters, with translated copies, voicing their support of Hernandez and urging a minimal sentence.

Shouldn't Child Protective Services be looking at his wife now, seeing that she is supporting someone who murdered her child, and she has other children with this baby murderer? She is obviously an unfit mother. They should take her other children away from her. I know someone who was in a domestic violence situation and even though she was the victim her kids were removed temporarily because she said she may go back to the perpetrator. That's all she needed to say and CPS took her newborn infant for 2 years even though the child was never abused and the mother never abused anyone including the perpetrator. Why aren't illegals kids placed in foster care when the mother of a murdered baby said the murderer is a good father in her opinion? If she was American, they would have had her kids by now. If she thinks what he did was acceptable, her kids are in danger of her. She may do the same to them.
