This is a translation from La Raza. Are other airports doing this? Rev. Coleman is quoted in this article.

There is growing immigrant families fearful of going to pick up friends or relatives to O'hare airport by the possibility of being arrested for not having legal documents to stay in the country.

Was recently released the case of a Mexican grandmother from San Miguel de Michoacan, Mexico, who traveled to Chicago with her granddaughter 3-year-citizen-who would meet with his parents, who live in this city. Fantastic! We need more of these "traps" to apprehend and deport illegals.

Nobody thinks anything of such "traps" which are set up to catch American citizens who may have outstanding warrants for non-violent offenses and what not.

Why should illegals invaders be given a free pass?

How many cashiers have been set up for selling cigarettes to minors in their crackdows? How many dead beat dads were fooled by a call saying they won money and showed up to collect, only to be arrested? How many phony prostitutes do they send out to catch potential johns or undercover agents to bust prostitutes? How many stores are covered with video cameras, under cover agents, secret shoppers and security to "catch" someone doing anything? How many cameras are on our roadways ready to issue massive tickets because they "caught you" with the front wheels a little over the crosswalk line when you stopped? Smokey in the woods with a radar gun to catch you going over the speed limit? The crosswalk police in Chicago for not stopping for a pedestrian? The safety check points......you name it ,there's a "trap" for it, when something has become a serious problem.

    I agree with you crazybird.

Federal agents did not fly the grandmother and the child into the country--the illegal relatives did. So how did federal authorities 'trap' the illegal aliens? They moved when the timing was right and to their advantage in the 'sanctuary city' of Chicago.

What types of illegal jobs are these illegal aliens holding? They can afford plane fare.

Another flawed and worthless LaRaza 'study' that means nothing except misleading propoganda. La Raza fails to distinguish between those arrested arriving/departing in the international airport at Chicago and those picking up individuals. The total also includes criminal fugatives trying to enter or flee our country. Not long ago O'Hare was shut down when 3 federal agents, chasing a fugative, weren't properly ID'ed by airport security.

Considering traffic at O'Hare, these figures are very low.

So it means they finally started doing their job for a change. I remember when they had an article about O'Hare and they finally said, Chicago may be a sanctuary city but O'Hare is under federal control. O'Hare kind of fell out from the the radar for awhile and was an easy place to slip through including hiring a ton of illegal aliens to work their.
