Six months for manslaughter
APOn Wednesday, a judge in Petersburg, Va. sentenced Norman Jose Carcamo-Arias, 25, to 10 years in prison with nine years and six months suspended. In December 2009, he pleaded guilty to involuntary manslaughter in the shooting death of his roommate, Josiel Venturi Garcia-Orbina, 24.
Since Arias, a Honduran national, has already been in jail for a year, local law enforcement are now just waiting for him to be picked up by Immigration and Customs Enforcement for deportation.
Petersburg Senior Assistant Commonwealth's Attorney Kenneth Blalock told the Richmond-Times Dispatch: “They said they were going to come down and pick him up to deport him back to Honduras.â€Join our efforts to Secure America's Borders and End Illegal Immigration by Joining ALIPAC's E-Mail Alerts network (CLICK HERE)

A Honduran immigrant sentenced in Petersburg this week to six months in prison for fatally shooting one of his roommates will soon be deported to his native country.
A Petersburg judge on Wednesday sentenced Norman Jose Carcamo-Arias, 25, to 10 years in prison with nine years and six months suspended for involuntary manslaughter in the Jan. 8, 2009, slaying of fellow Honduran immigrant Josiel Venturi Garcia-Orbina, 24.
Because Carcamo-Arias had no prior criminal record, state sentencing guidelines called for an active term of between one day and six months, said Petersburg Senior Assistant Commonwealth's Attorney Kenneth Blalock.
However, Carcamo-Arias already has served about a year in jail since his arrest, so he would be eligible for release if not for his status as an illegal immigrant. Blalock said he called U.S. immigration authorities Wednesday.
"They said they were going to come down and pick him up to deport him back to Honduras," Blalock said.
Carcamo-Arias already was being held for deportation at a detention center in Louisiana when he was arrested last year in his roommate's death.
In December, he pleaded guilty to killing Garcia-Orbina with a shotgun in an incident apparently designed to scare his roommate, not kill him. The defendant and victim shared an apartment with three other immigrants in the 500 block of Norman Street.
According to a summary of evidence, Carcamo-Arias had been drinking on the evening of Jan. 8 while Garcia-Orbina went into a back bedroom to call his family in Honduras. Garcia-Orbina had pointed the shotgun at his roommate the day before, and Carcamo-Arias decided he would do the same thing to his friend.
Carcamo-Arias raised the shotgun at the bedroom door and pulled the trigger, but it didn't fire. He squeezed the trigger again and it went off, making a golf-ball-size wound in Garcia-Orbina's neck as he was slouched against a wall on a mattress. Carcamo-Arias apparently believed the gun was not loaded.
After the shooting, the other three roommates took the gun and the four of them drove to another section of Petersburg, where they gave the gun to a stranger. They then drove to Richmond and dropped Carcamo-Arias on the street. He never returned to Petersburg.
The defendant and his roommates initially lied about the shooting and disposed of the weapon to protect Carcamo-Arias. The killing was Petersburg's first homicide of 2009.

And how long will it take for him to re-enter the country illegally? Deportation is a joke without secured borders. I sure hope the likes of the elites are satisfied with their treasonous behavior and purposeful requirements to keep the border nonexistant.
