Home loans denied. Their credit trashed. And a Wisconsin couple had no idea why it was all happening. But the Federal Government did.

That’s the incredible story. For the past six years, Debi Guenterberg has spent countless hours trying to repair the damage caused by two illegal aliens who took the key to her husband Robert’s identity: His social security number.

They used it to buy homes, trucks, get credit cards, and more. And left Robert Guenterberg’s credit in tatters. But he could not understand why. Until one day — six years later — he found out from a bill collector who notified him someone else used his SSN.
But another party knew about the identity theft all along — and refused to tell them. Their own Federal government — the IRS would not tell the Guenterbergs who was ripping them off.
Why the hell not? Because it would have violated the privacy of the illegal alien identity thieves!

Its well known and I've said it for years on how they can *fix* many of the problems with identity thieves and illegal aliens doing such. Simple redundancy checks with the SSA checking for SSNs with multiple current uses. Its been found some SSNs are used daily by more then 100 illegal aliens / identity theives and such would be easy to catch. Employers need to report all earnings to the SSA with a SSN and if it checked age, sex, dob, and ethnicity if provided so many of the stolen identities would be very obvious. Then require by law the SSN to find and notify the owner of the SSN.

As far as E-Verify and why E-Verify is majorly flawed the same fix tieing it into the SSA database would increase its accuracy massively. While E-Verify very rarely reports a legal worker as illegal by mistake many many illegal aliens get by because they use real stolen identities. However a database algorithm which wouldn't be hard to program at all could check for multiple uses and correct info very easily.

Problem is the government on all sides doesn't want to fix the illegal immigration issue or identity theft either. As far as they are concerned its not their problem but ours.

Hagle is cutting 1 Billion from the Defense budget yet the IRs refuses to close a "loophole" that allows illegals to rip us off for 4 Billion a year! The Democrats REFUSED to have the language clarified to close the "loophole" on the unearned income credit on at least two occasions in the past two months.
The IRS under this administration is aiding and abetting illegal foreign nationals by willfully paying them fraudulently.

This is the way the Obama administration distributes the wealth of this country's citizens and taxpayers to foreign nationals .
