Immigration reform supporters rally in Durham

Durham, N.C. — Immigration reform advocates gathered Sunday to remind candidates running for office in North Carolina that Hispanic voters plan to make their voices heard in November.

More than 1500 people attended the rally at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church at 810 W. Chapel Hill Street in Durham. The majority of those in the crowd want immigration reform aimed at reunifying families and at taking a humane approach to the undocumented population.

“Everywhere we have good and bad people. If we really want to help the good people here, we really need to find good policies,â€

DO NOT WORRY POLITICIANS. ILLEGAL ALIENS CANNOT VOTE. AND LEGAL HISPANICS DO NOT CARE ABOUT ILLEGAL ALIENS. THOSE WHO
SAY: "Immigration reform advocates gathered Sunday to remind candidates running for office in North Carolina that Hispanic voters plan to make their voices heard in November." ARE ILLEGALS. THEY ARE NOT LEGAL HISPANICS. ENFORCE CURRENT IMMIGRATION LAWS AND FINE ALL EMPLOYERS WHO HIRE ILLEGALS AND ILLEGALS WILL LEAVE. AMERICANS DO NOT SUPPORT AMNESTY FOR ILLEGAL ALIENS BECAUSE THEY ENTER WITHOUT VISAS OR OVERSTAY. THAT IS NOT OUR PROBLEM. THAT IS A PROBLEM CREATED BY ILLEGAL ALIENS. THEREFORE, ILLEGALS MUST LEAVE. NO AMNESTY. NEVER.

They continue to use the Hitler tactic, just repeat something often enough and people slowly begin to think that they also agree with the thought. That is why they continue to hammer in protest as well as media bias.

That is why the counter protests and letters to the newspapers and other media infiltration is so important for our side. It messes with their message and tactics to continue to reply with logic and lawful enforcement.

ITS PEOPLE LIKE THIS THAT MAKE A SITUATION (ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION) WORSE BY HAVING THE ILLEGALS THINKING ITS OK TO DISRESPECT THE LAWS OF WHAT WAS ONCE A GREAT COUNTRY. HOW IN THE HELL CAN ANYBODY WANT THESE PEOPLE TO REMAIN IN THIS COUNTRY ESPECIALLY AFTER THE SCENE OF THEM DISRESPECTING THE AMERICAN FLAG BY PLACING IT ON THE GROUND, STEPPING ALL OVER IT AND TO TOP IT OFF, PLACING A TOILET SEAT ON THE 50 STARS. MAYBE WE SHOULD USE THE MEXICAN FLAG TO HELP SOP UP THE REST OF THE OIL DOWN IN THE GULF. THESE PEOPLE ARE ONLY DON'T WANT TO BE A PART OF THE U.S.A., THEY ARE JUST DEMANDING AMNETY SO THAT THEY CAN KEEP THEIR ILLEGAL JOBS, AND ALSO TO KEEP DRAINING THE PUBLIC ASSISTANCE WHICH THEY ARE NOT ENTITLED TO IMHO, THEY ARE BEING TREATED LIKE THEY ARE THE CITIZENS OF THIS COUNTRY, AND WE ARE BEING TREATED AS IF WE ARE THE ILLEGAL ONES. JUST LOOK AT THE UNEMPLOYMENT OF AMERICANS IN THE U.S.A.

BTW, I DON'T HEAR ANYBODY BUT HISPANICS FROM MEXICO WAILING ABOUT THE ARIZONA LAW COULD LEAD TO RACIAL PROFILING. THESE PEOPLE ARE FULL OF IT, AND THE REASON THEY DON'T LIKE THIS LAW IS BECAUSE THEY KNOW THEIR GRAVY TRAIN IS ABOUT TO JUMP THE TRACKS THEY WON'T MAKE DEMANDS IN THEIR OWN COUNTRY BECAUSE THEY ARE JUST A BUNCH OF COWARDS. BUT THEY CAN COME HERE BEING ILLEGAL AS HELL AND DEMAND,DEMAND, DEMAND. THEY DON'T EVEN HAVE THE RIGHT TO MARCH IN OUR STREETS BUT THEY ARE DOING IT ANYWAY, AND NOTHING IS EVER DONE ABOUT IT.

I just took a look at his campaign website and his ALIPAC 2010 Survey and it says he does not oppose Obama's Plan and he is offering something that sounds similar to the Bush Guest Worker plan. Here is his survey and the email I'm sending Mr. Lawson today telling him we cannot endorse...

This is because politicians like lawson make a distinction between amnesty and a pathway to citizenship. These days, you need to ask every politician if they recognize a distinction between amnesty and a pathway to citizenship. This is how they can sound tough on illegal invaders but still support bills that use pathway to citizenship language. Thanks to the open border zealots and those who refuse to recognize our sovereignty as a country for creating just enough daylight between the two terms for politicians to grab a hold of.

I count BJ Lawson as a friend, and I know that the immigration issue is one that he has struggled with. I and others have spoken with him about this and he has come around to understand why illegal immigration is such a huge problem. Have you viewed his video response to the Durham rally? I also just looked at his candidate survey, and the only thing I found objectionable was that he was not fully on board with going after employers who knowingly hire illegals. He signed the pledge to oppose amnesty or any path to citizenship. I know him to be trustworthy and honest--definitely not a "politician."

Im talking with BJ about this. He said the listing of 1 on his survey for opposing Obama's Comprehensive Reform plan was a mistake so I adjusted that for him to a 10.

We are trying to get to a conversation about the other items so I pulled the letter in and the link no longer works.
