CAMPO, Calif. -- Border Patrol agents have found 25 Mexicans who were being smuggled into the country in two big rig trucks 40 miles east of San Diego.

Officials announced Friday that two men were arrested the night before after agents followed a group of illegal immigrants to a parking lot in Campo.

The agents watched as 17 immigrants disappeared into a truck through a trap door underneath the cargo trailer. Eight other immigrants got into the cab of another semi-truck.

Agents stopped both trucks and arrested the two U.S. citizens who were driving.
