Illegal immigrant arrested on charges of raping girl
    July 18, 2006

Noblesville -- An illegal immigrant remained in jail Monday after a court hearing on charges that he raped a 14-year-old girl.
Miguel Gutierrez, 22, Noblesville, was charged with two counts of rape in Hamilton Superior Court following his arrest Thursday.
He is being held in the Hamilton County Jail in lieu of $25,000 bond.
Gutierrez was accused of assaulting a girl identified in court documents as Jane Doe, who was visiting a boy in the 10700 block of East 166th Street early Thursday morning.
According to a statement of evidence submitted by Hamilton County Sheriff's Department Detective Kija Ireland, the girl was assaulted behind a house after the boy pulled her pants down and Gutierrez appeared.
Ireland said that the second rape occurred after Gutierrez carried the girl to a pickup. The detective said the girl had been given alcoholic beverages prior to the assaults.
Gutierrez was arrested after police, executing a search warrant, photographed 15 Hispanic males at the property. After seeing the photo lineup, Jane Doe identified him as her assailant.
Ireland said Gutierrez admitted to being in the country illegally.

The police knew where the flop house was. Why didn't they pick them up sooner. Should have checked everyone's ID.

You know people, you're just going to have to accept the rich cultural traditions of our honored "guests".

Who are we to say that raping children, decorating the city hall with severed heads, and committing vehicular manslaughter are wrong?

After all, who among you hasn't broken the law by speeding? So see, who are you to be casting stones?
It's like hell vomited and the Bush administration appeared.

Suspect, 20, faces trial in assault on girl, 14

NOBLESVILLE, Ind. -- An illegal immigrant identified as one of several attackers in the gang rape of a 14-year-old girl is to go on trial this week.

Miguel Gutierrez, 20, is charged with two counts of rape and is one of two people arrested in the case.
Other suspects have not been located, said Hamilton County Deputy Prosecutor Stephanie Smith.
The trial is set for Tuesday in Hamilton Circuit Court.
According to court documents, the rapes occurred in July 2006, when the victim and a friend accepted a boy's invitation to a neighboring home in the 10700 block of E. 166th St.
Once there, she told authorities, the two girls drank alcohol in the company of four other Hispanic males.
The Star does not generally identify alleged victims of sexual assault.
A sworn statement of evidence from Hamilton County sheriff's investigator Kija Ireland says the girl was attacked when the boy forced her behind the house and took off her pants after she fell and hit her head trying to get away.
"(She) stated she heard what she believed to be belts being unbuckled then felt people having sex with her," said Ireland's statement. "During this time, the male subjects were speaking in only Spanish and she could not understand what was being said."
The boy, 16-year-old Eleazar Renteria, is accused of holding the girl down while she was raped by at least two others, including Gutierrez. Renteria faces adult charges of rape, criminal confinement, sexual battery and battery.
After running from the three to find her drunk friend, Ireland said, Gutierrez grabbed the girl again, took her to a truck and raped her a second time.
When questioned, Gutierrez admitted to Spanish-speaking police that three or four Hispanic men had sex with a girl who had fallen on the ground, but that he was not one of them, said Ireland.
According to Gutierrez, Ireland said, "he did not know them and did not know where these men came from."
