Federal prosecutors have charged a Kansas City, Kan., man with being an illegal immigrant in possession of a handgun.

According to a Drug Enforcement Administration complaint, federal agents found Carlos Cervantes-Samaniego with a .380-caliber pistol as they served a search warrant in the 1300 block of Nebraska Avenue.
