Illegal immigrant cited for speeding, unsafe tires

HUDSON – In perhaps its first dealing with an illegal immigrant since a landmark court decision a week ago, police did not cite an undocumented Brazilian for trespassing.

Still, Winner Drumond, 26, faces a handful of charges for allegedly speeding, ditching his car and alluding officers on foot. Police also alerted federal immigration officers, who promptly froze his custody in a county jail.

By all appearances, police threw the book at Drumond, albeit a lighter one without the trespassing charge â€â€

state and local law enforcement have jurisdiction of the 'CRIMES' of illegal aliens -- regardless of federal immigration laws . . . and ANY judge that dismisses criminal charges against an "illegal alien" is aiding and abetting illegal aliens in violation of the laws of the United States

a citizen of one state is a "person" in another state, but the state has jurisdiction of that "person" if that "person" committed a crime in that state by virtue of the "CRIME" -- not citizenship or residence . . . non-citizenship in a state does not constitute immunity to the laws of the state or local governments
