Thread: Illegal immigrant involved in fatal Fairfax crash

A Fairfax County man died Monday night after his car was forced into oncoming traffic near Fort Belvoir by a repeat drunk driver, who had previously been deported for entering the country illegally, authorities said Tuesday.
Carlos Sanchez-Ramos, 33, was charged with aggravated involuntary manslaughter and other counts. The victim was identified as Paul J. Krause, 54, of Glenbarr Court in Fairfax Station.

After the crash, police said Sanchez-Ramos climbed out of the car with a three-year-old boy and ran away. Police arrested him a short distance away on Route 1.

Court records indicate his blood-alcohol content was roughly twice the legal definition of intoxication. Sanchez-Ramos, who lives on Grandview Court in the Springfield area, was previously convicted of drunk driving.

Immigration officials identified the man as Carlos Lagos Ramos, and said he had been deported to his native Honduras in January 2004. At some point after that, Ramos reentered the country illegally, Cori W. Bassett, a spokeswoman for Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) said Tuesday.

In November 2007, Fairfax police arrested him after a single-car accident, according to court records, and charged him under the name “Sanchez-Ramosâ€

ICE is working over time trying to keep us all safe from illegal criminals but, sometimes I feel the Law Enforcement Agency is fighting a losing battle, because the more illegals they detain and deport out of this Country, the more laws are passed to cause undocumented aliens to arrive and remain in the U.S.

Those people who supports undocumented aliens, may not have spoken with any, except maybe once, if any at all, so how do they know what type of people they are supporting? If they were to mingle with illegal immigrants in society and get to know the real truth about illegal aliens they will quickly have a change of thought about their support.

Believe it or not there are people who think this was not a tragedy because U.S. citizens also drive drunk and kill people. They actually defend the illegal immigrant's right to drive drunk and put American lives at risk.

I know what you mean. I have fought with them in the past on message boards (I have no more patience for debates) They actually will say "well there are plenty of American born LEGAL drunk drivers, rapists, murderers, child molesters, etc."

The illegal alien was probably headed to the Sanctuary State of MD where our Governor just LOVES illegal aliens and our General Assembly allows them to be bused in by CASA de MD to testify in Annapolis for rights they don't have.

The pandering politicians (who are traitors!) who allow these illegal aliens to live among us HAVE BLOOD ON THEIR HANDS!

ENOUGH ALREADY! I just dont' know how much more of this HYPOCRACY I can take!
