We historically have had no problem detaining people in Gitmo because we did not want to give them any U.S. Rights by bringing them to our soil. And because we determined that they were not entitled to our Constitutional protections, we could detain them indefinitely.

Maybe the solution is to establish an area where those who cannot be repatriated to their own country, can be sent, outside of the U.S.

Once word gets out that coming here illegally will not give you free reign in the U.S., maybe they will stop coming.

Clearly, if they are unacceptable to their own country, there is no reason we should accept them in ours.
