Re the May 23 article by Ruth Morris, "In the shadows": I feel sorry for the people she is talking about, but they are here in this country illegally and therefore should not be entitled to the benefits awarded to proper citizens.

This is sad but should be a fact. If they want health benefits, then get a green card so they have some legal recourse when their employers do not pay for their medical bills when hurt on the job.

Yes, they are vulnerable and, yes, the employers are wrong for hiring them, but that should not change the fact that they are here in this country illegally.

Their living conditions and the other numerous problems mentioned are mostly, if not all, brought on by their fear of being arrested, put in jail and sent back to their own country.

Illegal immigrants are exactly that

No, they are economic terrorists. They are terrorizing our Country. They are criminals and should be deported.

They are illegal just as much as stealing a car or shooting a person. As illegal as flying in the no fly zone over the white house. As illegal as can be.

So why are they allowed to continually compromise our government, our hospitals, our deficit, our families, our homes, our everything when our own citizens would be in Prison?

Why is an illegal immigrant - or economic terrorist - any better than an American Citizen?

If I knew that, I'd be smarter than the average bear! :P :P :P :P :P :P
