LA-Union Responds to the Deportation of Elvira
NOTE: More anti-American crap from yet another labor union
LA Labor Movement Responds to the Deportation of Elvira Arellano
Los Angeles County Federation of Labor, AFL-CIO, Executive Secretary-Treasurer Maria Elena Durazo issued the following statement today in response to last night’s deportation of immigration activist and mother Elvira Arrellano by Homeland Security Agents.
“At the core of what the Labor Movement fights for everyday are America’s most cherished values – family unity. Therefore today, workers throughout Los Angeles County stand together in denouncing the arrest and deportation of mother and immigration activist, Elvira Arrellano by Homeland Security Agents last night.
“As a result of yesterday’s actions, Arellano was forced to do what no mother should ever have to do – leave her eight year old American son behind for an indefinite amount of time. Yet incidents like these happen everyday in this country and still Congress continues to do nothing. In fact, 3.1 million children in this country have one or more parents who is undocumented. The reality of this issue is that those let down by Congress’ inaction are not just immigrants, but Americans like Arellano’s young son, who expect nothing more than for our nation’s leaders to do the job that they were elected to do - in this case, to move forward with solutions that address our broken immigration system so that families are no longer torn apart.
“As women and mothers, I call upon on Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) and Representative Zoe Lofgren (D-CA) to do what is right and help ensure that Arellano and her son are re-united in this country. If as Americans, we truly cherish family unity, then we must ensure that this mother and child are re-united again.â€Join our efforts to Secure America's Borders and End Illegal Immigration by Joining ALIPAC's E-Mail Alerts network (CLICK HERE)

This just tells me that this union has been taken over by illegals. I just don't get how illegals can be in a union. Not to be ignorant, but is that legal?
I am not in a Union, but it seems to me Americans who are in unions need to do something like vote in union leaders that are pro-American.

what parent in their right mind would choose to leave their kid behind?
have these people no shame?
they use their children in the same manner that they cross the border despite the laws, the fail to give it a second thought.
