MONETT, Mo -- Health officials believe the swine flu virus has already spread across Arkansas, and its just a matter of time before early cases are confirmed since hundreds are getting tested. They want people with flu-like symptoms to stay home, and call a doctor.
Word of the outbreak quickly spread to Mexican immigrants living and working in the Ozarks.

They tell KY3 it's worry and concern not just for themselves but for friends and family in Mexico.

Like we really need people traipsing back and forth across the border, visiting relatives, and picking up dormant VIRUSES!!!!!!

We're even. I'm concerned about local Mexicans.

This area in the far southwest corner of the state is a rural area with chicken plants so the flow from the motherland ( mexico ) is probably constant ...
