Illegal immigration suspected

In a raid on three houses Friday in southwest Detroit, federal agents arrested 17 immigrants suspected of living in the country illegally, authorities said.

Officers with the fugitive operations team of Immigration Customs and Enforcement had set out to find three immigrants who had failed to heed deportation orders, said Michael Keegan, a spokesman for the agency, which is part of the Department of Homeland Security.

Agents went to three locations, looking for the men. At one site, they found one of the men, an immigrant previously convicted of auto theft, Keegan said.

At a second one, they couldn't find their target, but arrested other people who were living in the country without proper documentation, he said.

In the third location, agents couldn't find their target and didn't arrest anyone.

Amazing how these boneheaded illegal alien advocates fail to mention illegal aliens significant contributions in the area of crime, and how our government refuses to acknowledge this? But then I forget, we constantly hear that they are the darlings of our economy and that they can do no wrong. As I mentioned in another group Bush is the proverbial mule. This jackass has to be kicked in the ass by the American people (his electorate...the taxpayers) which he has conveniently forgotten in his haste to improve the lives of illegal aliens and his steadfast refusal to do anything to help ordinary taxpaying citizens. He had to be coerced by the House leadership representing southern border states to even entertain the idea of providing the security Americans living along the border and the rest of the country are in dire need of and are entitled to under the constitution; the existence of which he has forgotten as he tramples over and usurps the laws and ideals contained within it. He doesn't care about the security and welfare of American citizens...to him this is political wrangling of the Republican finest, and the Democrats who are engaged in a stone throwing free for all at the Republican glass house are just as complicit in
this. This recalls the anology of the child being dragged to the dentist's office while kicking and screaming which is like this administration's reluctant half-hearted attempt to secure our vulnerable ports and borders but still is kicking and screaming when asked to fullfill all of his responsibilities.

Well they got to start somewhere... arrest a few here and there, and scare the heck out the rest of them and hopefully they will GO BACK HOME!!
