Illegals in Hendersonville, NC arrested for dealing meth

Hendersonville – The Henderson County Sheriff’s Office, working in a joint investigation with the Hendersonville Police Department, executed a search warrant at 209 Oak Street, at approximately 9:00pm on Wednesday, August 29, 2007. As a result of this search warrant 25-year-old Lucinda Mendoza and 32-year-old Salvador Campusano were arrested.

Mendoza and Campusano were each charged with 1 felony count of conspiracy to traffic methamphetamine, 2 felony counts of trafficking methamphetamine and 1 misdemeanor count of child abuse. Campusano was also charged with speeding and not having a driver’s license. Additionally, both individuals were found with fictitious documentation in their possession and checks are currently being performed to determine their immigration status. Mendoza is being held in the Henderson County Detention Center under a $31,000 secured bond and Campusano is also in the Henderson County Detention Center under a $31,300 secured bond.

Also as s result of the search warrant approximately $5,200 cash, 1 vehicle and approximately 201.6 grams of methamphetamine were seized. The methamphetamine has an approximate street value of $31,000.
