Thread: Illegals using fire to clear border

A century ago, when the US-Mexican border was under siege by Pancho Villa the US government responded by sending the Army. Not the National Guard, border patrol, or ICE. If the illegals are resorting to violence, which they are, it's time to step up the response. It's time to send an Army battalion down to the border with orders to meet force with force.

We are diffinitely in a war here and it is being hidden by our own government! Our border partol agents are being attacked and they have their hands tied behind their backs. They are not even allowed to protect themselves for if they do they get jail time. I think its time to arm the people that are supposed to be protecting us from invaders by giving them the ability to load their guns and USE THEM! This is just like the amnesty issue and this is a very basic child rearing phylosophy. If there are not negative consequences for unwanted behavior the behavior continues and even worsens. There must be STRONG consequences for disobaying the law and those consequences MUST be carried out!

This just shows you the mind set of these people, if they don't get what they want they will resort to violence and destruction to get it!
Even our firefighters are no longer safe out there.
Time for some changes out there.

I DON'T SUPPOSE THEY CAN BE CHARGED WITH ARSON EITHER, OF COURSE NOT THEY ARE NOT AMERICAN U.S. CITIZENS. OUR CRIMINAL LAWS DON'T APPLY TO THEM ONLY THE RIGHTS GIVEN UNDER THE CONSTITUTION!!

that's what happens when the government gives these illegals more rights than it's citizens and they know it they all know what happens to them if they get shot by are border patrol agent's they will get rewarded.and the agents will become the criminal.is this the kind of people are president want's in america?

I definately agree with that! We need to see our tanks lined up all along there. Wouldn't that be a sight for sore eyes? Just envision it...The U.S. Military, with their Red, White and Blue flags on their arms and flying from their tanks...all lined up and ready to protect this great land of ours. What are we waiting for Mr. President?!

Illegals Setting Fires to Cross Border

Coronado National Forest employees could call it a war zone. Some illegal aliens, particularly human and drug traffickers, are resorting to extreme measures to cross the border between Mexico and the remote southern Arizona forest.

Border Patrol agents in the region face the highest rate of illegal border crossings in the nation—nearly half a million illegals crossed here in 2006. Agents also confiscated 100,000 pounds of marijuana that was being smuggled through the forest last year (Washington Times, June 19).

The Times also reports that last month the Border Patrol caught over 300 aliens and 600 pounds of marijuana in a 3-mile stretch over 10 days. In response to the agency’s activities within the operation, illegals set at least five fires in an attempt to burn agents out of one observation post. The fires were not the only ones set by Mexican smugglers. In fact, Forest Service firefighters have seen armed smugglers walk right through their ranks as they were trying to battle fires. Now, law enforcement officers must accompany firefighters when they are sent to put out the flames.

The fires correspond with a 100 percent rise in attacks on Border Patrol agents, including threatening with deadly weapons, assault and crude firebombings. Illegals have targeted agents with Molotov cocktails and grapefruit-sized rocks wrapped in gasoline-soaked rags and set on fire. Agents have been shot at, and some Border Patrol vehicles have been rammed, according to the Times report.

Besides threatening the lives of border agents, firefighters, law enforcement officers, and the users of the forest system and spoiling acres of wilderness, the increasingly violent and still unchecked problem of illegal immigration has far-reaching ramifications. I would like to see president Bush and the senators and congressmen have to go and live in the neighborhoods that are infested with illegals who are just dying to assimilate so they can become legal citizens just to see how long it would take them to run back to the white house to scrap the amnesty and work visa plan provided none of them gets raped mugged or killed by any of them I would also love to know how many illegals live around or next door to the senators and congressmen who are for amnesty. It better be a very high number since most of them seem fine with granting them all amnesty. I bet there are none where they live because if there were they would not be talking amnesty and would be enforcing our borders and enforcing our laws.
