Immigrant dies in snowy San Diego County

A border crossing proves deadly for an illegal immigrant in San Diego County.

The Border Patrol says one man died and six others were rescued this morning after they became lost in freezing, snowy weather about 60 miles from the Mexican border.

The Mexican nationals were in the Corte Madera area of Pine Valley, more than 4,000 feet above sea level, when they became disoriented in ankle-deep snow.

One managed to contact the California Highway Patrol by phone. The C-H-P called the Border Patrol. Agents trained in search-and-rescue hunted three hours before finding the group.

One man was dead and the others were treated for non-life-threatening conditions.

Border Patrol spokesman Richard Kite says it's not the first time that immigrants have tried to avoid border guards by hitting the back-country.

One Mexican National illegal alien dies while breaking the law to enter here illegally, and it is top story news on all the local San Diego newscasts. One local news station even reported it as a "death of a hiker", with the headline "Hiker dies after getting lost in snow". Give me a break, now illegal aliens are now considered as HIKERS??!!

SAN DIEGO – Winter storms thrashed San Diego County Saturday, causing one hiking death and dozens of injuries from weather-related accidents.

The (illegal alien) hiker died after getting lost in the snow near Corte Madera in Pine Valley with four others who were injured. Border Patrol official Richard Kite said agents found the (illegal alien) hikers several hours after hearing they were missing around 7:30 a.m. He would not comment on the cause of death or identify the (illegal alien) hikers.

Yeah, like Border Patrol agents always go and rescue hikers in the mountains, and then refuse to identify them. What a crock.

Everyday of the week, Mexican Nationals living in San Diego rape, rob, child molest, carjack and murder innocent law abiding Americans, and there is hardly ever a mention. Greetings from America's Finest Barrio.

We had three die in the last day due to cold exposure in the Southern Arizona area.
