    Woburn, MA -

The Brazilian migration to Massachusetts is reversing.

After years of steady migration into Massachusetts and the Woburn area, many Brazilians have decided they have had enough of America and are returning home.

The combination of a thriving Brazilian economy, an American economy on the down, and a stricter crackdown on immigration policies is believed to be what is causing the widespread exodus.

Hugo Moraes, owner of the restaurant Taste of Brazil in Woburn, says there are two main reasons why Brazilians are now having a tough time in America, one relating to economic issues and the other, immigration.

The 24-year-old restaurant owner says the whole purpose of many Brazilians moving to America was to send back money to their families. Now that the dollar is down, the risk of moving to a new country does not outweigh the reward.
More evidence these people never had any allegiance to this country to begin with.

    Good riddance...

"Brazilians have gained skills here so that they can go back and get work there." "On the job training", not to mention wages, which could have been used both by lower skill U.S. workers and our young people who also once did these jobs.

Brazilians seem to have a better education and common sense understanding of the situation that they are in. They do not import foreign oil anymore as their cars run on sugarcane-based fuel, a project they started over 30 years ago. They are one of the largest countries in South America and they speak Portugese as their major language.
If they came here for our economy, although they have helped to destroy it, they know it is time to head for greener pastures.

Are these the same Brazilians that were leaving last month, and the month before that, and the month before that?? and they are still here, and still thinking about leaving?? It seems like once every month, or so, I read this same story about Brazilians leaving. What do we have to do to actually get them to leave??

    Keep cranking up the pressure!!!
