Once eager for U.S., Brazilians going home

The Brazilian migration to Massachusetts is reversing.

After years of steady migration into Massachusetts and the Woburn area, many Brazilians have decided they have had enough of America and are returning home.

The combination of a thriving Brazilian economy, an American economy on the down, and a stricter crackdown on immigration policies is believed to be what is causing the widespread exodus.

Hugo Moraes, owner of the restaurant Taste of Brazil in Woburn, says there are two main reasons why Brazilians are now having a tough time in America, one relating to economic issues and the other, immigration.
