Immigration agents search restaurant

FORT WALTON BEACH — U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents searched the Panda China Buffet restaurant on U.S. Highway 98 Wednesday afternoon.

The restaurant was closed and unmarked cars blocked all the entrances to the restaurant about noon.

ICE spokeswoman, Danielle Bennett, later confirmed that special agents were executing a search warrant at the location.

It was unknown Wednesday whether any arrests were made.

Len Register, spokesman for the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Pensacola, said he could not comment on the search warrant.
