    Do we have the will?

    Do we have the will?

As I recently watched a DVD, "The Beauty Academy of Kabul," I was struck by a comment made by one of the students.

During an interview, a young woman recalled the horrors and deprivation that the Taliban brought upon them, especially the women. She then said, "How did this happen to us?" These determined women survived decades of war and the cruelties of the Taliban. Now all they want is a normal life and a career in hair design.

Without realizing it, what I believe she really meant was, "Why did we let this happen to us?" That is a question I hope we will not be asking ourselves as a nation and a people when we find ourselves at the mercy of illegal immigrants.

When our economy succumbs to the financial strain of supporting the flood of people taking advantage of our health care system, public schools and other social programs, will we say, "How did this happen to us?"

When English is no longer the language of commerce and general communication, will we say, "How did this happen to us?"

When crime rates exceed our law enforcement and prison system,

will we say, "How did this happen

    to us?"

The question we should be asking now is, "How can we keep this from happening to us?" The old yet accurate cliché says, "Where there's a will, there's a way." The ultimate question is, "Do we have the will?"

I sincerely believe that the Afghan people, even the women, could have avoided their unfortunate plight if they had the will and courage to protect their country and their culture from the destruction that eventually occurred.

    America can learn a lesson

    from their unfortunate outcome

and hopefully never have to ask

ourselves, "How did this happen to us?"

We do have the will, but is going to take ALL of Americans to finally stand up and unite on this issue. The majority of Americans (and I'm guilty of this until recently) have become complacent and are not taking action.
If more and more conservatives get out and vote, and spend a little time taking action against these treasonous issues, things could be changing for the better. The politcally correct and liberals have been the "bigger" voice in past years, and that's why they are getting stuff done THEIR way.
Its time to for all Americans who believe in the same country our forefathers did to finally stand up and be heard. Our government has stepped on us and treated us like crap because we have been silent.

    I'm already asking the question.

Simply put, apathy will be the cause of of our destruction.

Yes, apathy is the word for sure. What is it going to take for people to wake up as to what is happening?

I have noticed seeing it really tends to get people to thinking. I sent email video links to everyone on my email list. Seeing the graphic radical images are not only disturbing they are hard to argue against. In many cases seeing is believeing. I know the first time I saw the protest videos I felt a new sense of urgency.

April, I've had much better success showing people the little and layup site videos from the Minuteman website.
After they see these videos, they have this look of "Holy S#@!" on their face, and many that I've shown those to get empowered and have written the UT and the Federal traitors in support of amnesty, the NAU, etc.

    Great Sippy!

Yes, people tend to freak out once they see the truth of the matter because of the extent of the problem.

I think the Americans that REALLY CARE are doing a fine job ! - with all I have gathered with various internet sites.
I'm sure many share your logical ideas and sense of realism, but you
are up against some revolting politically correct bullshit, carpetbaggers
and corrupt authority figures. The public mind has been indoctrinated something terrible (even outside the I.I issue); people feel disempowered of having any rights; who stands for truth is painted out the villian, radical, 'intolerant'.

We would be so stupid in thinking nothing immoral is going on here - however deeply buried the lies and deceit.
I think a Memorial should be presented to the American people that have been the victims of Illegals - especially because of the widespread pathetic enforcement measures. Memorials embody such a wide range of aspects to contemplate don't they ?!

I wonder how ripped off some people feel ; the families of those that have had a loved one murdered, raped, their human/social/economic/cultural rights - compromised.

These politicians have blood on their hands.

Welcome John. We are indeed up against some very corrupt and I dare say evil forces that have taken hold of our country and our politicians - evil because greed and lust for power are behind this invasion. The majority of average Americans are against what has been going on and see this for what it is. But our politicians have all but turned their backs on the public. And our President is another matter. The man should be tried for treason and sent to live out the rest of his days in a Mexican prison.
