Homeland Security's Janet Napolitano is so totally disingenuous [a nicer word than fraudulent] in boasting of increased numbers of deportations of illegal aliens!

Consider the new criteria for deportation being used, by order of Homeland Security, in Houston, Texas. The illegal alien's case is dismissed if he/she is found to have been in the United States for at least 2 years without a "serious criminal history."

One wonders why breaking US immigration law by entering illegally is not deemed to be "a serious criminal history"?

Tough State action is needed to compensate for the federal decision to undermine rule of law. Throw the illegal aliens out [and Janet Napolitano and her boss with them]!

I don't doubt it at all. The law only exist these days to take money. If they are not "making money" off of the crime they "throw them out by the case load.

Every single last man or woman involved in this needs to be jailed in the worst possible conditions until the end of time.

I'm so sick of the criminals running the show.

That's what I'm saying - so if we sue all nations that are getting involved against AZ then we can recoup our monies. This isn't fuzzy math. There is a huge cost to indulging these criminals. Maybe some of the idiot psychopathic sociopathic narcissistic politicians could finally get it right. ARGGGGHHHHH!

Our last stand was the 104th and 105th Congress. IMO, they abandoned the fort at the heat of the battle, and sold their children for a song.

It was the same old CAFTA song ..

    CAFTA vote story

"Twist some Republican arms until they break in a thousand pieces." That statement by Representative Jim Kolbe (R-Arizona) describes the Republican leadership's rabid determination to get the U.S. House to pass the Central American Free Trade Agreement (CAFTA) -- no matter what.

    Deportation dismissals: Hardly 'enforcement'
    Tuesday, October 26, 2010

A huge spike in dismissals of deportation cases -- a 700 percent increase in one month in one of the nation's busiest immigration courts -- signals what critics are calling Team Obama's latest attempt at backdoor amnesty.

Immigration judges in Houston, Texas, this summer began dismissing a slew of slam-dunk deportation cases -- even for illegal aliens with criminal records, according to Judicial Watch. This, after Homeland Security officials began "reviewing" that city's immigration court docket.

With only 27 dismissals in July, the number shot up to 217 in August and 174 in September after the feds' reviews, reports the Houston Chronicle.

"They're still doing it," one immigration attorney tells the newspaper. "They're just doing it quietly."

Immigration and Customs Enforcement officials downplay the docket reviews and say those who qualify for dismissals have no "serious" records for, say, drunken driving, sex crimes or domestic violence. How reassuring.

And apologists argue that more dismissals are needed to reduce a backlog of cases this year, more than 247,000 as of June, including 7,444 in Houston.

So the message to illegals is that their get-out-of-jail card is waiting for them should they get arrested. Through amnesty's "backdoor" goes any sense of federal immigration enforcement.
